Don’t come here for atmosphere-basic surroundings, adequate seating but no ambiance. It is always made without egg (I would remind them to make it without the dead pig as is served with the combination plates). Only $1 for small or $1.50 for large orders to substitute fried rice for the white rice. We were told we could get any sauce with our vegetables when we order, just let them know next time we visit. The portions were nice sized and the prices were in line for the area. The food quality is good-the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Teens ordered #117 Sautéed Broccoli with Brown Sauce (ie Broccoli Beef without the dead cow). The adults ordered #119-Vegetable Delight with Brown Sauce. Extensive menu and while we did not order from the lunch menu, it appears to be a good value. The 24 January 2015 review note about the location is accurate. If that does not take place, despite thier tasty products and good prices, they may ultimately have problems in attracting repeat customers. I would hope that my thoughts would motivate the owners to take appropriate action to improve their conditions. I liked the products that are sold there, but when one looks around the surroundings I believe that much more should be done in terms of cleaning and maintaining the place. Though the Dragon has a posted 'A' sanitation rating displayed, there is a lingering suspicion that the lack of cleaning attention in the rest of the place might suggest that there could be a lack of sanitation where the food is being stored and prepared. Two other examples that suggest that cleanliness is not a priority included the grime-stained kid's chair and the neglected trash recepticle stationed near the entrance. My wife visited the ladies room during our most recent visit and reported that it has obviously lacked proper attention.

I have encountered sticky table tops, and the front windows need cleaning as well. I am sending along this re-considered grade owing to the fact that the place looks like it could use a good scrubbing. In my earlier post I gave the place a five star rating, largely because the quality of food was tasty, moderately priced and served in generous portions. This is the second time that I've reviewed the China Dragon.
